How Much Does a Website Cost in Jordan? A 2026 Buyer's Guide

What actually drives the price of a website in Jordan — scope, integrations, content and support — and how to compare quotes without getting burned.

It is the first question almost every client asks, and the hardest one to answer in a sentence: what does a website cost in Jordan? The honest answer is that "a website" describes anything from a five-page company profile to a platform with user accounts, payments and an admin system behind it. Those are not the same product, and they should not carry the same price.

This guide explains what actually moves the number, so you can read any quote — ours or anyone else's — and understand what you are paying for.

What actually drives the price

Scope. The single biggest factor. A brochure site that presents your company is a fraction of the work of a site where customers log in, book, pay or upload. Every screen that holds state — an account, a cart, a dashboard — multiplies the design, engineering and testing behind it.

Design. Using a template is cheaper and faster. A custom design tailored to your brand costs more because someone is making hundreds of deliberate decisions about layout, hierarchy and motion. Both are legitimate choices; the mistake is paying custom prices for template work.

Integrations. Connecting to a payment gateway, an ERP, a CRM, a shipping provider or a WhatsApp flow is real engineering. Each integration has its own rules, edge cases and failure modes. Two sites that look identical can differ enormously in price because one of them talks to four other systems.

Content. Somebody has to write the words, take the photographs and prepare the product data. If that somebody is your agency, it belongs in the quote. If it is you, make sure everyone knows — unwritten content is the most common reason projects stall.

Languages. A proper Arabic version is not a translation toggle. It is a right-to-left layout, typography that works in Arabic, and content written by someone who writes Arabic natively. Budget for it as real scope, because a machine-translated Arabic site actively damages credibility.

What happens after launch. Hosting, updates, security patches, backups and someone to call when something breaks. A quote that ends at launch day is not a complete quote.

How to compare two quotes properly

Price alone tells you very little. Put the quotes side by side and check whether each one includes: design (template or custom), the exact page and feature list, content creation, the Arabic version, SEO fundamentals, testing, training for your team, and a defined support period. The cheaper quote is often cheaper because three of those are missing — and you will pay for them later, usually at a worse moment.

Ask two questions that reveal a lot: who owns the code, domain and hosting accounts when we are done? and what exactly happens if something breaks three months after launch? Clear answers signal a serious partner.

Why Jordan is competitive

Jordanian development rates are lower than the Gulf and considerably lower than Europe, while the engineering talent pool is one of the strongest in the region. That combination is why companies across the Gulf increasingly build here rather than locally. You are not trading quality for price — you are buying the same quality in a lower-cost market.

The honest summary

A focused company website, a custom-designed marketing site, an e-commerce store and a custom platform are four different products with four different budgets. Anyone who quotes you a single number before understanding which one you need is guessing.

Tell us what the site has to do — not how many pages you think it needs — and we will send a clear, itemised estimate within one business day. Start that conversation here, or read how we approach website development.
